About

I am an assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology. My work focuses on the comparative politics of climate change, energy transitions, and natural resources, primarily in fossil fuel-rich democracies of the Global South.

My research has been supported by the Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC) at UC San Diego, the Center on the Politics of Development (UC Berkeley), the Center for Contemporary India (UC Berkeley), the Berkeley Economy and Society Initiative (BESI), the Lau Fellowship in Climate Equity (UC Berkeley), and the Center for Political Economy at Columbia University.

Prior to Georgia Tech, I was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Center for Political Economy at Columbia University. I received my Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, in May 2025.
